Columbia, SC (WLTX) -Trophy cases smashed, graffiti in hallways--it was only a part of the damage that Eau Claire High School suffered last weekend.

According to the Columbia police department,,on Saturday, February 15, a suspect shattered the glass out of the front door to gain entry to the school located on Monticello Road.

The suspect is accused of smashing the glass out of several trophy cases, offices, classrooms and the cafeteria. Officers also found graffiti on hallways. School equipment, including a computer, was also damaged.

The damage estimate is approximately $10,900.

Surveillance video at the school shows what appears to be the suspect outside of the school at approximately 6:30 AM.

According to Interim police chief Ruben Santiago, it appears that nothing was stolen from the school.
