Richland County, SC (WLTX) -- The Richland County Sheriff's Department has made an arrest stemming from a shooting at a nightclub in early March.
Deputies arrested 24-year-old Tirrell Boyd on Friday night and charged him with murder, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of cocaine.
Three people were shot at Club Climax in the early morning hours of March 1st. One person died at the scene, while two others were treated at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital.

Sheriff Leon Lott says that the department's Fugitive Task Force was able to locate and arrest Boyd just after 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lott says that Boyd was spotted outside of a home in Hopkins. As deputies approached, Boyd sped off and later wrecked.
Lott says that Boyd fled into the woods, where a Richland County Sheriff's Department K-9 tracked and located Boyd, who was then taken into custody without incident.
Boyd was transported to the Richland County Jail.
