Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police have released new pictures of a person of interest in a shooting last weekend in Columbia's Vista.

Officers say just before 2 a.m., Sunday, officers were assisting with crowd control at 920 Lady Street when they heard what sounded like gunshots in the area of Lincoln and Lady Streets.

Police found property damage, but say no one was hit by gunfire.

Earlier this week, police released a surveillance image of a man seen running along Lincoln Street in a dark, sleeveless shirt around the time of the shooting. The new pictures released Thursday show the same man a few hours later wearing a white t-shirt with the word "Baptist" on the back. Officers say it appears the person picked up the shirt he wore earlier off the ground.

Investigators say they believe the man may have valuable information about the case.

Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC, or e-mail a tip in to www.midlandscrimestoppers.com.
