Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Columbia police are searching for four suspects who they say stole $100,000 worth of diamonds from a jewelry store.

Officers say the theft happened at Moseley's on Broad River Road around 1 p.m. June 14th.

According to investigators, three of the suspects pretended to be customers and distracted employees. While they were talking to the store workers, a male suspect walked into a restricted area and took the diamonds from a safe.

In a surveillance video, officers say the suspect could be seen putting the jewelry tray in his jacket before he left the store with the other suspects.
