Columbia, SC (WLTX)-- Rashida Brown always knew that she was destined for a career in education. Her mother is a teacher and she knew that she wanted to be an educator. More importantly, she knew that she wanted to teach middle school students.
Brown is an English Language Arts teacher at Kelly Mill Middle School in Richland District 2. She's a department head and takes pride in integrating technology in her class.
Brown is a Virginia native and University of South Carolina graduate. As the mother of a 1st grader she understands educational transitions and takes pride in helping her students excel in the classroom.
