Teriann Nash has known since she was a 2nd grade student in Sumter County that she wanted to be an educator. She works with students at Lower Lee Elementary that need additional classroom assistance.

Bishopville, SC (WLTX)-- it's a long quiet country road to get there, but once you make it to Lower Lee Elementary School, Teri Ann Nash's classroom should be your first stop.

For 18 years, Mrs. Nash has been helping bring the best out in every students.

For her, education is more than just a career, she considers it a calling. This is Mrs. Nash's first year back in the classroom after taking 5 years off to home school her children.

Mrs. Nash works with students who need additional assistance in specific areas of study.

She admits, that she's known since she was in 2nd grade that she wanted to be a teacher.

"I treat these children the way I would expect someone to treat my own. " Mrs. Nash says.
