Lexington, S.C. (WLTX)-- While some high school girls might ask for clothes, a new cell phone, or even a weekend with friends for their birthday, one Midlands girl asked for a different type of present.

Madison Fisher attends White Knoll High School in Lexington. For her birthday, instead of gifts, she asked family and friends to contribute to a local charity named Happy Wheels. The group distributes donated toys to children at local hospitals in Columbia, Charleston and Greenville.

Madison collected more than $400 in money, gifts and toys to donate to Happy Wheels. Happy Wheels Representative Judith Brindal and Ryan Player, Principal at White Knoll High School congratulated Madison for her community service and generosity to Happy Wheels Columbia.
