Columbia, SC (WLTX) - A three day interview process begins Wednesday for the five candidates who want to be the next Columbia Police Chief.

The included the following candidates: Tony Fisher, the former Spartanburg public safety chief; William Holbrook, currently a police chief in West Virginia; Charles Rapp, the Executive Director for the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commissions; Gregory Reese, the Chief of Security forces for the Air Force Space Command in Colorado; and Bryan Norwood, the former Chief of Police for Richmond, Virginia.

They will meet with a number of city leaders first, and then citizens will have the chance to questions the candidates during a public forum that will take place Wednesday night. The meeting will take place at City Hall on Main Street from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.
