Manning police say the owner hasn't paid fees in order for tags to be released to customers.
Craigs used cars on sunset drive in Manning is closed for business.
Manning police say the owner hasn't paid fees in order for tags to be released to customers who had purchased vehicles.
At the time of purchase, car buyers were given a paper tag by Craig's Used Cars and when their metal tag didn't arrive, the car owners went back to the used car lot., where in some instances another paper tag was issued.
Manning Police Chief Blair Shaffer tells us it appears to be about 50 cars in Manning affected by this.
They're now working with car buyers in an effort to help them get their permanent tags.
If you bought a car from Craig's Used Cars and you are still driving around with a paper tag, you can contact the Manning Police department for help.
The owner is not facing charges, but the investigation is still ongoing.
