Columbia, SC (WLTX) A man is in custody tonight after leading police on both a vehicle and foot chase.

According to Richland County deputy Curtis Wilson, Bradgent Young, 44 was driving on Humphrey Drive around 6 PM Tuesday evening when an officer with the Richland County Community Action team (CAT) attempted to pull over the vehicle after identifying it as stolen.

Young, according to deputies, did not stop for blue lights and continued to Hampton and Harden streets where the vehicle crashed into another car, no one was injured. Young ran from the wrecked car and entered a dorm at Allen University, he was caught by deputies on Pine Street.

He will be charged with failure to stop for blue lights, possession of stolen vehicle and other charges could be forthcoming.
