Leroy Leneau, 61, of Sumter was reported missing by an out-of-town relative who last spoke with him by phone at about 8 a.m. Saturday while he was at a friend's home on South Main Street.

SUMTER, SC (Aug. 25, 2014) – Police need your help in finding a legally blind man who hasn't been seen since Saturday.

Leroy Leneau, 61, of Sumter was reported missing by an out-of-town relative who last spoke with him by phone at about 8 a.m. Saturday while he was at a friend's home on South Main Street. Local relatives told police Leneau was last seen leaving his home on his way to visit the friend but never returned. Police later determined he was no longer at the friend's home.

He was wearing white slacks with slits in the lower leg, white shoes and a white T-shirt. He's about 6 feet tall and weighs about 155 pounds with no known serious health conditions. Family members also said he had a short scruffy black and gray beard.
