Sumter holds annual charity golf tournament to benefit families of fallen law enforcement officers.

Sumter, SC (WLTX) - You can help families of fallen law enforcement officers.

The 19th Charlie Kubala golf tournament takes place on October 13 at the Beech Creek Golf Club. It's named after a Sumter deputy who fell in the line of duty.

The tournament will be a 4-person Captain's choice with morning and afternoon flights. Plenty of refreshments and snacks will be available during play and lunch will be provided by Outback Steakhouse.

Each year we have 66 teams available (33 per flight) and they always sell out. This is one of the largest tournaments in the Sumter area and one of the biggest in the entire state. If you'd like to join you can find more information by heading to the tournament's website.
