Columbia, SC (WLTX) -- Gayle Aycock, who has served as LRADAC's Director of Quality Assurance, has been upped to President and CEO of the not-for-profit organization serving Lexington and Richland Counties.
Aycock joined LRADAC in 2005, having served as the Director of the Earle E. Morris Jr. Alcohol & Drug Addiction Treatment Center operated by the state of South Carolina. She developed and directed LRADAC's continuous Quality Improvement Program, to ensure consumer confidentiality and HIPPA compliance.
She's a USC grad, and has served previously as consultant to the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, board treasurer for the Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands, and board member for the Killingsworth Home in Columbia.
LRADAC's Board of Directors Chair Steve Hatchell said "The Board of Directors conducted a nationwide search for the next President and CEO. It just so happened that the best person for the job was already a part of the organization."
Hatchell cited Aycock's vast experience in the clinical treatments offered, as well as operational knowledge of the organization, and community served by LRADAC.
"Having been a part of the LRADAC family for many years," Aycock said, "I am honored to serve as the President and CEO. I look forward to working alongside the excellent staff who work so hard to meet the needs of the people in Lexington and Richland counties.
