Lexington, SC (WLTX) - A Lexington County gunmaker says it plans to expand, creating 300 more jobs.
Palmetto State Armory announced Thursday it will make a $4.2 investment to add extra space and renovate their facility on Old Dunbar Road. The upgrades are being done so the company can increase its manufacturing capacity over the next three years.
The company says it also will need more workers to make all the new weapons, and will nearly double its number of employees to meet the demand.
