All water should be boiled at least one minute before cooking or drinking.
Chapin, SC (WLTX) The town of Chapin has issued a boil water advisory for all customers on the Amicks Ferry water system.
The town is advising customers to vigorously boil their water for at least one minute prior to cooking or drinking. Any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purpose.
Also, any residents near the affected area who have lost water and/or water pressure are also advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking
The advisory will continue to be in place until satisfactory sample results have been obtained by the lab.
