Nashville, TN (WLTX) - Clemson got off to a rough start in their NCAA regional, allowing 20 hits as they lost to Oregon 18-1 in Nashville Friday.

Clemson was actually the first to score, getting out to a 1-0 lead when Steve Wilkerson singled to bring home Tyler Stanton.

But it was all Ducks after that.

Oregon scored for three runs in the second, five in the fourth, and exploded for seven in the sixth.

The Ducks, ranked 18th nationally, now go to the winners' bracket in their region, while Clemson goes into the losers' side. A loss Saturday would end the Tigers' season.

Game time is set for 2 p.m.
