Nashville, TN (WLTX) - Clemson's baseball season came to an end Saturday with a 6-4 loss to Xavier in the NCAA regional in Nashville.

Things seems to be going the Tigers' way early, when Clemson took a 2-1 lead in the fifth inning after a two-out single by Steven Dugger . But the Musketeers scored two runs in the bottom of that inning and never looked back from that point.

The loss followed Friday's 18-1 defeated to Oregon.

The Tigers finish the season with a 36-25 record. This was their 27 NCAA Tournament appearance in the last 28 years.
