Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- The halftime of the USC-Ole Miss game was devoted to the Carolina football team which for the third straight year was honored for an 11-win season.
Head coach Steve Spurrier and his coaching staff were on the court with the players who finished the year ranked fourth in the national rankings, the highest final ranking in the history of the program.
Spurrier had some fun with Jadeveon Clowney and Bruce Ellington as the coach introduced the players on the court EXCEPT Clowney and Ellington. The coach had some fun with the players who were the two high-profile athletes on hand with quarterback Connor Shaw competing in the NFL PA Bowl in Los Angeles. Both Clowney and Ellington had some fun with the intentional "snub" as the crowd joined in with some collective laughter.
