Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- More than 120 media credentials were issued for USC's Pro Timing Day and the headliner could be the top pick in next month's NFL Draft.

Jadeveon Clowney was put through the paces for a little more than two hours as NFL scouts watched intently.

The former USC All-American met with Houston Texans head coach Bill O'Brien Tuesday night and the head coach was at Pro Day where he was asked for an update concerning what his team might do with the top pick in the draft.

"Wide open," said O'Brien who could trade down and take a quarterback, but by all accounts Wednesday, Clowney made his case to be the number one pick by showing off the speed, quickness and athleticism that made him a headache for opposing offensive coordinators for the past three seasons.

Clowney said he should be the number one pick. The only question will that land him in Houston or another city. He is scheduled to meet with the Texans, Rams and Falcons in the near future.
