Hoover, AL (WLTX) - The South Carolina baseball team has made another quick exit from the SEC Tournament, after they were eliminated Thursday afternoon by Florida.

The Gamecocks lost to the Gators 7-2, a day after dropping one to Mississippi State 12-0.

USC raced out to a 2-0 lead, but Florida scored seven unanswered to put it away.

This is the second straight year the Gamecocks have gone 0-2 Hoover. Since 2010, South Carolina is 2-10in the SEC Tourney.

They'll find out Sunday if they will be selected as a regional host for the NCAA Tournament.
