Columbia, SC (WLTX) --- The 23rd annual George Rogers Gala brought a packed house to the Zone at Williams-Brice Stadium where a silent auction was held to raise money for the George Rogers Foundation.

It also didn't hurt to see some the likes of former heavyweight boxing champion Larry Holmes along with William "The Refrigerator" Perry who starred at Clemson and went on to win a Super Bowl with the Chicago Bears.

USC"s all-time touchdown leader, Marcus Lattimore, was also there to help lend support to the Foundation which will host a golf tournament Monday at the Orangeburg Country Club.

The George Rogers Foundation raises money for scholarships and also helps youth based organizations.
