Houston, TX (WLTX) - The NFL's top draft pick hasn't played a down in the league yet, but he's already got his sights set on one player in particular: Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.
The Houston Texans recently posted on their website a video called "Rookie Confessional" featuring their new star, Jadeveon Clowney. In the video, Clowney talks about his goals for the upcoming season, which includes showing his teammates he has what it takes to play pro football and earning their respect.
But he also said one of the things he wants to do is to sack Luck. (Which is no surprise, since as an outside linebacker who's really a defensive end, his primary role will be to get after the QB). The Colts are the defending titleholders in the AFC South, the same conference that Houston competes in.
While the Colts were on top last season, Houston was at the bottom, finishing with just a 2-14 record.
Clowney, who played three season at South Carolina, had surgery last month to repair a a sports hernia. He's expected to be ready for the start of training camp later this month.
