Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Severe weather moved through the Midlands Tuesday afternoon, causing minor damage.

High pressure from the coast has brought moisture into the region, which helped touched off the storms.

The worst of it occurred around 3:30 p.m., when a cell producing high winds and light hail passed through lower Lexington and Richland Counties. There were reports of limbs down, and at least one viewer reported a tree fell down due to high winds.
