WLTX INTERACTIVE RADAR

Temperatures climbed into the middle and upper 90s, which helped fire up some of the thunderstorms we saw. The weather caused the National Weather Service to issue several severe thunderstorm warnings.

WLTX has received reports of downed trees in both Richland County and Kershaw County. An evening soccer match between USC and Clemson had to be delayed because of the lightning.

Some viewers also reported losing their electricity.

A few safety tips: As always, if you encounter streets covered with water, don't drive through them, and If you can hear the thunder, you can be struck by the lightning.
