*** UNSETTLED END TO HOLIDAY WEEKEND... ***

.....It will be sunny, hot, and dry through the Fourth of July. High temperatures will be in the mid 90s with the heat index near 100 by Saturday as the humidity increases.

.....The weather pattern will begin to change over the weekend. A low pressure system over the Great Lakes region will slowly change by the weekend allowing a disturbance to approach the Midlands over the weekend. This will produce better chance for storms will on Sunday and Monday. The return of afternoon thunderstorms will result in slightly lower high temperatures.

.....It will be humid for the weekend into the next week. The chance for rain will begin fade on Tuesday with hot & humid conditions on tap for the middle of next week.

* DRY 4TH, CHANCE FOR STORMS SUNDAY... *

TONIGHT

.....It will continue to be mostly clear with dry conditions. Winds will be out of the north at 5 mph. Overnight low temperatures will be in the middle to upper 60s.

4th OF JULY

.....Conditions will be very similar to Friday - hot, mainly sunny, and dry. As our next system approaches, a few clouds may move into the state late in the day, however, rain is NOT expected. Highs will return to the lower to middle 90s by afternoon.

SATURDAY NIGHT

.....Expect mostly clear skies and warm conditions, prefect weather for watching fireworks. Temperatures will fall into the lower 70s with winds out of the south at 5 mph.
