. . Bridal Shows. .

By all means, go to one bridal show (maybe two), but be cautious. You shouldn't expect to book everything you need from just that pool of professionals. Bridal shows are a great resource for information and ideas, but they can be overwhelming and confusing. Consider attending one show out of town in order to see how they do things in other places. Even if you don't intend to book an out of town professional you may get some great ideas.

After the show, take all the information you gathered and while the show is still fresh in your head make a separate pile of definite call backs for making appointments. Try to limit each category to two definite call backs. Any more will just be confusing and absorb way too much of your time.
