COLUMBIA, S.C. — Eleanor Tabone is a multi-skilled reporter/investigative reporter for WLTX.

Eleanor joined the WLTX team in December of 2020.

The Australian native came to Columbia after working as a reporter for News19's sister station WQAD News8 in Iowa.

During her time as a reporter, Eleanor has covered everything from the Australian wildfires to South Carolina government

Eleanor’s passion for journalism started when she was 16, when she worked for a local newspaper in her hometown in Australia. She went on study journalism at the University of Cincinnati, completing her degree back in Australia at Swinburne University and Technology.

From there she went on to work as a newspaper reporter, moving into radio then into TV. Finally, she came to South Carolina.

Eleanor is passionate is about storytelling, she’s inquisitive and humbled everyday people are willing to share their stories with her.
