GRANITE CITY, Ill. –Several businesses have been affected by flash flooding in Granite City Monday morning.

Duke Bakery is among the businesses closed Monday.

It said it is not sure when it will open again.

Duke Bakery shared the following message on its Facebook,

‘Due to very unfortunate circumstances we will not be opening today and not sure when we will be able to open backup. We will keep everyone posted. Sorry for any inconvenience. This is devastating to all of us. Thoughts go out to everyone affected by the flooding in granite and surrounding areas today.’

Granite City police said they have their Humvee out for emergencies.
