Eric Church buys $50,000 worth of guitars from N. Carolina store

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Country music superstar, Eric Church stopped by the Greensboro Music Barn on Saturday evening, according to a Facebook post. 

While on a tour stop at the Greensboro Coliseum, Church took a look around at this iconic music shop in Greensboro on Chapman street. 

Manager of Greensboro Music Barn, Shawn Roberts, said Church bought a lot of guitars totaling more than $50,000 as well as a few vintage guitars as well.

Roberts said this year is the Music Barn's 50th anniversary. 

Church released his debut album, "Sinners Like Me," in 2006. It produced three top 10 hits: "How 'Bout You", "Two Pink Lines", and "Guys Like Me." His first number one album, "Chief" came in 2011 and gave him his first two number one singles: "Drink in My Hand" and "Springsteen."

Church has had many chart-topping hits since then, Now, he's a hit for a different reason in the Greensboro community.
