(WLTX) - The world may have gone Jurassic - but this kingdom has fallen...and it can't get up! The resident island to the raptors is spewing so much lava that they face inevitable re-extinction. So, should they be saved or left to suffer nature's consequences? Dr. Ian Malcolm prefers the latter. But he always opposed the return of the species and he's seen more than his fair share of what they can do.

However, our more recent heroes, Claire and Owen, have grown attached to these functioning fossils. They are on a mission to save a small percentage of dinosaurs, so they can exist on another island (with no interference from man). And, if wrangling up the various species isn't hard enough, they also have to contend with the flowing lava! Talk about being stuck between molten rock and a hard place.

As expected, the visual tapestry is impeccable. But, for a movie with such great 3D, these villains could not be more two-dimensional. However, the ethical questions are so endless and valid that this could qualify as the most thought provoking film in the franchise. That's what has the Leemoji smiling. Not to mention a quick bonus scene after the credits.

If there's a question of discretion, it's justified! There's plenty of violence and peril throughout - so the PG-13 rating is quite suitable.

I don't know if we'll ever return to the greatness of the original. But "Jurassic World" has definitely improved since we last saw it. May as well Triassic on for size!
