(WLTX) - Matias is super-excited! Not only is it game night, where he and his friends Skype over some Cards Against Humanity - but he's very eager to show off his new laptop. Okay, technically, it isn't exactly his. But anything that sits in the Lost and Found too long eventually becomes public domain, right?

Sadly, it looks like he stole from the wrong person. Now he and his cohorts are being led down a River of rampage. Is it too late to return this thing? I'm guessing the damage is done. Don't touch what's not yours, kids.

If you're not familiar with the original "Unfriended" from 2015, don't worry. This is a stand-alone sequel with no cross-referencing plot ties. The only connection is the computer screen presentation. Whether or not you'll be accepting of that is a matter of personal taste.

I, myself, have an appreciation for concept films like this. It shows that people don't necessarily need a big budget to tell an interesting story. And, while exaggerated, the unknown dangers of the Internet are quite real. So, despite all the implausibility, there's also a wealth of creativity...which amounts to a smiling Leemoji!

Now, much like the original, it did dwindle a bit at the conclusion. However, two different endings are being shown in theaters - so that may not always be the case.

For those in Question of Discretion, it couldn't be called "Dark Web" if there weren't some disturbing images and profanity. But, as far as horror movies go, it's practically bloodless!

I say, log in to "Unfriended," if only to frighten you away from the Dark Web.
