FLORENCE, S.C. — Students who graduated from a South Carolina high school Monday didn't just get a visit from the governor; no, they got a serenade from him as well.

McMaster attended the ceremony at West Florence High School. He spoke to students, but then transitioned into a musical selection as well.

He explained to them his appreciation for the Paul McCartney and Wings song "Mull of Kintyre." The song is about a longing for a place you love, and McMaster told graduates that could be anywhere, or event a person or thing.

McMaster's "Mull of Kintye," as he explained it, are the banks of a creek near Pawleys Island and his home in Columbia.

Then McMaster proceeded to pick up a white guitar, and belt out the tune himself.
