COLUMBIA, S.C. — WLTX and Salvation Army are once again partnering for Stuff-A-Bus 2024 to provide holiday gifts for families in need through the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program.
While the sign-up period for receiving gifts has closed, there is still one last opportunity to give gifts to children in need this holiday season.
How to donate
In-person Stuff-A-Bus events will accept new toys, games, clothing and shoes, essential daily items 6 a.m.-7:30 p.m. at the following Walmart locations:
Friday, December 13
- Two Notch, 10060 Two Notch Road, Columbia
- Harbison, 360 Harbison Blvd., Columbia
- Sumter, 1283 Broad Street, Sumter
- Columbia, 7520 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia
What to give
Salvation Army suggests something off the recommended gift list for children ages 10-12 years:
- dolls: Barbie, Frozen, Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella
- make-up kits, manicure sets, hair sets, headbands, rings, jewelry kits, bracelets
- jewelry box
- doll house
- Unicorn painting table
- Unicorn cupcake bake set
- Lego's
- Video games, tablets
- art supplies
- toy trucks, remote controlled vehicles, Hot Wheels
- action figures, super heroes, Spiderman
- coats, shoes, socks, slippers, sweater caps, jackets, sweaters

Harvest Hope Food Bank will also be accepting donations of non-perishable food items such as:
- one pound bags of rice, pasta dried beans
- boxed, single-serve breakfast items (oatmeal, grits, granola bars)
- single-serve, pop-top meals (Chef Boyardee spaghettis, Campbell's Chunky soups or stews, etc.)
- canned beans and vegetables (pop-top or easy open)
- canned fruits (pop-top or easy open)
- canned or pouched meats
- cereal
- shelf-stable milk
- ramen noodles
- peanut butter
