Blood drive to honor fallen Lexington firefighter Monday

Paul Quattlebaum was hit by car while assisting victims of car crash

LEXINGTON, S.C. — Lexington Fire Service is hosting a blood drive in honor of a fellow firefighter who was killed in the line of duty.

Fire engineer Paul Quattlebaum died last October after being hit by a car while assisting victims of a vehicle accident.

Quattlebaum had served 22 years with Lexington Fire.

The blood drive will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at the Department of Emergency Services gym on Ball Park Road in Lexington.
