Chick-fil-A Supply to invest $80 million, create 165 new jobs in Lexington County

Fast food giant building a distribution center in West Columbia

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. — A new distribution center will bring 165 new jobs to Lexington County by 2024. Chick-fil-A Supply, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chick-fil-A, announced on Monday, November 21, the company will invest $80 million to create the facility and jobs at the Saxe Gotha Industrial Park in West Columbia.

The Chick-fil-A Supply facility will distribute supplies to area Chick-fil-A fast food restaurants in the area, helping to ensure restaurants have the supplies to accommodate customers and address distribution complexities such as frequent, high-volume delivery, varied delivery environments and rapidly evolving needs.

Saxe Gotha Industrial Park, at 4490 12th Street in West Columbia, is also home to Nephron Pharmaceuticals and two Amazon facilities.

According to the Chick-fil-A Supply website, facilities distribute more than 2.8 million Chick-fil-A sauce packets each month and on-site amenities include meals and fountain drinks, employee lounge, vehicle maintenance and wash bay, powered forklifts and automated wrapper cells.
