Are you a great artist who wants to support breast cancer survivors?

The city of Columbia is having a design contest to create a t-shirt to celebrate the fight for a cure

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The City of Columbia will conduct its first Mayor’s Campaign Against Breast Cancer T-shirt Design Contest, July 1, 2019 – July 31, 2019.  The contest is open to talented artists who are interested in creating a t-shirt inspired by the fight for a cure.

There will be two categories of t-shirt design:

  • Columbia Police Department (CPD)
  • Columbia-Richland Fire Rescue (CRFR)

Artist may submit up to two design entries; one Columbia‐Richland Fire Rescue and one Columbia Police Department design, however; you can only be selected as the winner for one t‐shirt.

Community voting will be conducted August 9 – August 16, 2019.

The winners and designs will be recognized on the City of Columbia’s website and social media as well as the annual Mayor’s Campaign Against Breast Cancer Isabel Law Breakfast.

Hand-drawn entries can be sent to One Columbia, 1219 Taylor Street, Columbia, SC 29201

All the sales from the t-shirts will go to Palmetto Health Foundation for the Bosom Buddies fund to assist women with post-mastectomy bras and other support material.
