Two juveniles robbed of cellphones at gunpoint in Columbia, three suspects wanted

The victims were robbed by three people who pulled up in a white sedan — a female driver and two male passengers.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is looking for several suspects in connection with an armed robbery. 

According to the Richland County Sheriff's Department, two juveniles were walking on on the 4900 block of Circle Road in Columbia around 3:25 p.m. on January 17 were robbed at gunpoint. 

The juveniles were robbed by three people who pulled up in a white sedan — a female driver and two male passengers. 

According to law enforcement, one of the male passengers got out of the vehicle, pointed a handgun at the juvenile victims and demanded they give up their cell phones. After the suspect had the cell phones, he got back in the vehicle, and the suspects drove away towards Spring Branch Drive.

Anyone who has any information about this robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-CRIME-SC. Callers may remain anonymous and receive a reward if their tip leads to an arrest.
