CAYCE, S.C. — Cayce area schools closed early Tuesday due to a water line break, but three of them will re-open Wednesday.

On Tuesday, classes were canceled for Cayce Elementary School, Busbee Middle School and the Lexington Two Innovation Center after a secondary road near the schools experienced a water main break.

Day care and after-school activities were also cancelled for the affected schools.

All three Lexington Two schools are set to operate on a normal operating schedule Wednesday, according to the school district. Each school will use bottled water for the day, and receive breakfast and lunch at normal times.
