COLUMBIA, S.C. — Christian music stars MercyMe are headlining a tour that will be coming to the Colonial Life Arena this fall.
Event organizers announced Monday that the platinum-selling group will be part of the "Imagine Nation Tour." They'll be joined by Grammy nominee Crowder and GMA Dove nominee Micah Tyler.
The event takes place Friday, October 18.
MercyMe was formed in the 1990s, and perhaps is best known for their smash single "I Can Only Imagine." The story of that song, written by lead singer Bart Millard, was later adapted into a successful motion picture.
Recent radio favorites “Best News Ever,” “Grace Got You” and “Even If” are housed on MercyMe's most current album LIFER, and will be among the hits included in the evening of music.
MercyMe was named Top Christian Artist at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 17 at 10 AM and will be available at ticketmaster.com, the ticketmaster App, and also at the Lexington Medical Center Box Office inside Colonial Life Arena.
