Family Eldercare holds 21st annual fan drive

The extreme heat we are experiencing is not only uncomfortable, it can be dangerous. It can also be deadly for frail members of our community.

Krystal Wilson, development and communications coordinator for Family Eldercare spoke to KVUE about the 21st annual fan drive.

Again the fan drive, known as Fan Fare Friday is next Friday, June 24 at Threadgills in downtown Austin. The event will feature free live music between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m.

The fan collection drive started May 1 and will continue through July 31.
