Fire at Columbia apartment complex under investigation

Crews responded to a fire at Colonial Village Friday morning.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Richland County Fire Marshall is working to figure out what caused a fire at a Columbia Apartment Complex. 

It happened at the Colonial Village on West Avenue Drive Friday morning.

The Columbia Fire Department says one unit was heavily damaged, but the fire was contained.

According to a tweet, two people were displaced. 

There are no reports of any injuries.
