8 More Arrests in Shooting Death of Columbia 17-Year-Old

The group is facing charges related to the death of a 17-year-old from Richland County.

Columbia, SC (WLTX) - Eight additional arrests have been made in the shooting death of a 17-year-old in Richland County in May.

The Richland County Sheriff's Department arrested 20-year-old Jordan Terrell Myer, 18-year-old Kenneth Roger Robinson Jr., 18-year-old Jewayne Marquise Price, 39-year-old Twana Ivery, and 18-year-old Thaiyeah Keisha Keel, in connection with the shooting death of Amon Rice.

Myer is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, Robinson Jr.was charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, Price was charged with accessory before the fact, Ivery was charged with accessory before the fact and Keel was charged with accessory before the fact.

Amon Rice 

A 15-year-old has also been charged but because he is a minor his name is not being released, he is charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Two 16-year-olds were accessory before the fact.

Amon Rice, 17, and another victim were found with gunshot wounds on the 200 block of Greenlake Drive in Hopkins on May 10. Deputies believe a dispute lead to the shooting near Unity Missionary Baptist Church that left Rice dead and the second victim with non life-threatening injuries.

A mother and her three children were also arrested in connection to this murder at the end of May.
