Orangeburg, SC (WLTX) The Orangeburg County Sheriff's department is looking for the person who stole an antique oil company sign from a home.

According to the Orangeburg Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says that a man notified investigators that someone had taken a large blue and white Pure-brand oil company sign from his property on Tamara Lane.

The owner said the sign is worth in excess of $1,000.

Security cameras show a hooded subject enter the property around 11:33 p.m., based on the time stamps of the cameras.

In July, the owner reported yet another antique oil company sign stolen from his property.

That sign, a purple, orange, and white Esso Standard Dealer sign, was reported taken on July 18. It is worth around $600.

If anyone has any information about the thefts or the subject in the security photos, you are asked to call the OCSO at 803-534-3550 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
