CAYCE, S.C. — Cayce Department of Public Safety officers are investigating after a body was found just off I-26.
Officers say around 7 a.m., officers found an unresponsive male near Exit 116 on Interstate 26 westbound. Police have not yet said how they think he died.
Cayce DPS officers asked that drivers please take extra caution in the area and find an alternate route if possible.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office is assisting the Cayce Department of Public Safety in this ongoing investigation.
