Orangeburg, SC (WLTX) - With a criminal history dating back to 1992, now one Orangeburg County man is facing even more charges.
David Hoover, Jr., 44, is charged with second-degree burglary, grand larceny and malicious injury to real property.
While sitting in a detention center for allegedly breaking into two churches in May, forensic evidence implicated him in a residential burglary on May 17. Hoover's most recent charges stem from this burglary, where electronics valued at more than $2,000 were stolen.
“The detention center doors seem to be revolving doors for this individual,” Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said. “As soon as he is out on bond, he’s back in for yet another charge.”
Deputies say Hoover was also charged with burglarizing a Neeses property in January.
Bond was set at $120,000 Wednesday, an increase from his previous bond of $26,000 in June.
