ST. MATTHEWS, SC (WLTX)--- Calhoun deputies say they need help finding a missing woman.

Paulette Scott, 41, has been missing since March 26. Calhoun County Sheriff Thomas Summers says Scott recently moved in with her mother on Greenwing Drive in St. Matthews.

Deputies searched the neighborhood and the surrounding wooded area with no luck.

"We found no signs of her going into the woods. For instance, no signs of tracks. No signs of pushed down brush or grass or any signs that would indicate she actually went into the wood line," said Summers.

Summers says there have been no previous reports made about Scott.

"She was a very private person. Said she didn't socialize much, or have many friends. She mainly stayed to herself. She read the Bible a lot and was basically like a loner type of person," said Summers.

He says they haven't found any leads pointing to where Scott maybe.

"There were no indicators she had been abducted. There were no indicators of anything except like she told her mother. She wanted to clear her head," said Summers.

Investigators say Scott was last seen wearing a blue pajama pants with brown dogs on them. She had on a white panthers vs patriots t-shirt and a beige hoodie.

"We're just really concerned right now because there has been no contact," said Summers.
