Coroner: Missing Camden Man Dead from Heat Stroke

Kershaw County Coroner says a missing man from Camden died from a heat stroke.

Kershaw County, SC (WLTX)- Kershaw County Coroner, David West says a missing Camden man was found Saturday, dead from a heat stroke.

77 year-old George James Clark (Jimmy) began cutting some trails in the woods behind his home Tuesday after purchasing a 4-wheeler.

His family, who lives out of town tried to contact him and when they could not asked a friend to check on him.

Clark was discovered Saturday afternoon in a wooded area according to the Kershaw County Sheriff's Department.

Authorities say he walked into the deep of the woods and sat down before collapsing.

The coroner says his cause of death was heath stroke due to the heat.
