Officials say a Florida man is dead after a house fire in Sumter County on Christmas morning.
Ronald Holcomb, Jr., 33 of Port Orange, Florida, died as a result of the fire, which happened in the 400 block of Marion Street in Pinewood, according to Sumter County coroner Robbie Baker. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning in Newberry.
The Sumter Fire Department and the Sumter County Sheriff's Office are investigating.
