(Los Angeles) - Paris Hilton may be out of jail, but she's still on probation for driving on a suspended license. The hotel heiress was released early Tuesday from a Los Angeles-area jail after serving 23 days for violating her probation on a 2006 reckless driving conviction. Swarmed by paparazzi and with a big smile on her face, Hilton walked through a line of sheriff's deputies into a waiting SUV with her parents inside. Three days after Hilton began her jail stay, the Los Angeles County Sheriff released her to home detention with electronic monitoring because of an unspecified medical condition. She was at home for just over a day before she was ordered back to jail by superior court judge Michael Sauer to complete her sentence. During her three-week stay at the all-women's facility, Hilton was mostly confined to a solitary cell in the special needs unit away from the other 22-hundred inmates.Hilton was initially sentenced to 45 days in jail, but was released early for reasons that included good behavior.Hilton can complete her probation in March 2009 if she keeps her driver's license current and doesn't break any laws. Officials say she can reduce that time by 12 months if she does community service that could include a public-service announcement.Hilton's first interview since leaving jail will be on "Larry King Live" on Wednesday on CNN.
