HBO still needs paid extras for new series filming in SC

Filming is coming to an end, but an HBO series filming in South Carolina is still looking for hundreds of extras!

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Filming is coming to an end, but an HBO series filming in South Carolina is still looking for hundreds of extras!

The series is called "The Righteous Gemstones," and it's a new comedy starring John Goodman, Danny McBride and Adam Devine. Filming is taking place next week in Charleston, and they need extras for the roles of churchgoers and Swahil refugees.

Churchgoers are needed May 20-23, while African American men, woman, teens and kids are needed to portray Swahili refugees on May 20. And if you're a man wanting to be an extra, casting needs you for filming any day between May 20 and 23.

All extras are paid, so if you're interested be sure to submit two current photos (one close up and one full-length) along with name, phone number, age, height, weight, clothing sizes, description of visible tattoos, description of car and available date to TRGrequest@gmail.com. Email heading should include: date or dates available.
